Day 1- Arrival At Barot at our camps.
Arrival at Barot. Our representative will guide and take you to our campsite is next to the Uhl river which is very relaxing. Day 2:- Trek to Rajgundha and Billing
Rajgundha through the village and it's old wooden houses and friendly inhabitants. After descending down and crossing the river UHL on a wooden bridge there is an climb upwards from there along a nullah as you reach Twin Villages of Rajgundha and Kukkar Gundha on the opposite side of the cliff. Enjoy the views of the beautiful valley and catch a peek of the Snow Clad Dhauladhar Ranges surrounded by dense forest of Deodar. Enjoy the hospitality of the villagers while appreciating the charm of the ancient village and its traditional houses giving you a feeling of being in a different world and proceed for your journey ahead that is another 12 kms to Billing Paragliding Site. After walking for another 3-4 hours on a well paved out road we will reach Billing. Have some refreshments and some fast food at the numerous restaurants at Billing and be ready for your time of life after giving a shot at Paragliding at one of the finest sites of the world for paragliding. Fly like a bird for 20 minutes or more and enjoy breath-taking views of Kangra Valley and far away. Upon Landing at Bir, enjoy great food and drinks at the numerous restaurants and cafes and relax and catch your evening volvo back to Delhi with wonderful memories
How to reach Barot valley :
By road, route from Delhi will be Delhi – Chandigarh – Bilaspur – Mandi – Ghatasni – Barot valley (About 500 km)
From Pathankot, the route will be Pathankot – Palampur – Jogindernagar – Ghatasni- Barot Valley (about 206 km)
By Train, Delhi – Pathankot and the narrow gauge track from Pathankot – Jogindernagar – Ghatasni then by road to Barot
By air : Barot Valley is 127 km from Bhuntar airport near Kullu. You can also reach Barot from Gaggal airport near Kangra, approximate distance is 97 km
Ghatasni is place where road to Barot branches off from NH 20 { Between Jogindernagar to Mandi }
